A service in Indonesia
Joey was already active in Ashvien's team before Faith Generation was founded. He traveled along to healing services and witnessed many miracles in the Netherlands. Joey also went abroad to help during campaigns and conferences. In 2024, he traveled to Jakarta, Indonesia. During this trip, Joey felt a clear calling from God to leave everything behind in the Netherlands and go help prisoners in Indonesia.
Joey himself has a history of crime and spent several years in prison. After his conversion, a deep love for prisoners developed. In 2022, he began visiting a juvenile prison in the Netherlands. There, he was occasionally allowed to speak and share his conversion story. During this period, his heart for prisoners grew immensely.
special start to the service
Shortly after Joey had quit everything in the Netherlands, he gained access to all prisons in Indonesia in a remarkable way. Not only prisons opened, but also churches, schools, rehabilitation clinics, and many other places where there was a need. That is why Joey started the Favour Ministries foundation in January 2026.
Mission trips
Favour Ministries organizes mission trips to various islands in Indonesia. During these trips, prisons are visited, healing campaigns are held, sermons are preached in rehabilitation clinics, and orphanages are visited.
